Thought
On what should you base your faith? Have you become so confident in your own intelligence, reasoning, and persuasive skills that you no longer rely on God in times of crisis? Your abilities can bring on a crisis of faith, forcing you to decide whether to depend on self or on God.

Prayer
Author of our faith, too often I look inward to my own abilities when decision time faces me. God, how can I leave You out of the decision-making process? Forgive me. Amen.
